-,was . 4 Into this publication has gone months of work by some ten staff mem- bers whose only reward was thanks To them I can only reiterate the statement of Mr. Price, who said - It's wonderful that a group of students can come up and work on a project such as an annual without disturbing classes or causing a lot of confusion in the office. Any attempt at thanking the associate editors and our business mana- ger would be entirely inadequate. Without their persistent aid day after day in anything which had to be done there would have been no coord- ination of staff work. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to our advisor. Mrs. Yeates, more than anyone else, has known the disap- pointments, arguments and shortages of materials which were obstacles from the time the book was only an idea. Her understanding, suggestions, and expenditure of time were invaluable to an inexperienced editor and staff. Our thanks to Mr. D. O. Nichols-you made our poor pictures good, and our good ones better, to the Underwood Studio for processing the por- traits of our faculty and seniors, and to the Times-Echo for technical advice and for aid in shipping copy. To Paul Clark we are grateful for advertise- ment pictures and others throughout the annual, and lastly, our gratitude to the teachers of E. S. H. S. who have been patient with us while we were gadding about collecting material for the annual and also for not excom- municating us when late for classes. During the past six months, all of these people would have been per- fectly justified in any violent act they might have committed against a certain annual editor. To all of you-thanks for your patience. UH' Dj! Editor 1 . -
