I n QI enior l1 ature and English ll are not dissimilar, but shifting from French to Latin in her 1 thinking requires Miss Williams to be "on her toes." Her degree is an M.A. from Washington University. . Mr. Young joined the faculty last year as a teacher of math. His degree from St. Louis Uni- versity provides the background for practical and interesting math classes . Mr. Peterson, one of our new sci- ence teachers received his preparation for teaching at Evangel College and Missouri University. Practical aspects of geometric figures are displayed each year on the Christmas tree in Miss Pierce's room. In addition to math classes Miss Pierce sponsors National Honor Society. Her Master's degree was granted by Missouri University. P Mrs . Ritter added citizenship to her usual program of English ll this year. She received her M.A. from Missouri Valley College. This year Mrs. Ritter is president of the Rockwood CTA. Supervising the student teachers from the University of Missouri is one of the many ways of evaluating Mrs . Shanight's ability in the home econom- ics field. Family living class this year gives boys an opportunity for her direc- tion too. Mrs. Shanight's M.S. is from Stout University, Wisconsin. Pottery, lettering, chalk drawing, and oil painting are but a few of the aspects of art taught by Miss Smith, who received her M.S. from Missouri University. Mrs . Stenerson is enjoying the pleasant library atmosphere for helping students . She also teaches the publica- tions class. l-ler B.A. is from St. Olaf College. Dorothy Williams Roland Young
