H,-fl. liwiillgfioii 3 l National Honor Society C We are proud of the little framed charter which hangs in the main GD corridor and enables Shore High pupils to be enrolled as members of the , O National Honor Society. To become a member of this nation-wide society, TO a pupil must rank high in four qualifications, namely scholarship, leader- T L, ship, service, and character. Those who are elected as members are presented with small gold pins, ' t upon which are engraved the torch of knowledge and the four letters, A S.L.S.C., representing the four qualities for which they stand. To belong to a society of this kind should mean much to a member. T' Vlfhen an outsider who knows nothing about the organization inquires as sf? to the significance of the little gold pin, the wearer can proudly say HI i earned that as an all-around student in my high-school days.
