Mountaineer Staff Much of the success of this year's MOUNTAINEER was due to the very capable direction of the editor. Georganne Ulfers. The staff worked diligently all year to meet that never-ending deadline. The paper was published monthly this year. Members of the staff are from LEFT TO RIGHT: Nancy Wurtele, reporter; Therolyn Morgan, advertising manager; Georganne Ulfers. editor; Bill Banks, reporter; Ethel M. Bolling, adviser; Mary Ann McGraw, Sandra Sutter, and Donna Michael, all reporters. MISSING from the picture is Clinton Waller, reporter, who joined 24 the staff late in the year.

Whispering Pine Staff The members of THE WHISPERING PINE staff worked diligently to help make this year’s annual better in every way. Staff members who gave willingly of their time and efforts were: Donna Ewing, editor; Judy Bartlett, assistant-editor; and Carol Wurtele, business manager. Other capable right-hand helpers were: Therolyn Morgan, advertising manager; Nancy Wurtele and Pat O'Connor, photographers; Judy Bartlett and Carolyn Droeser, artists. Throughout die year the staff waged a vigorous annual sales and advertising campaign, struggled to meet deadlines, and elected a WHISPERING PINE queen. The entire journalism class worked on the advertising and subscription campaign.
