Under the leadership of their class officers, Sue Schultz, president; Jim Lackey, vice president; Janet Sneddon, secretary; Skipper Peck, treasurer; and Becky Laws, student council representative, the class gave parties and had fun in general in their second year of junior high. At Christmas time they sent some of their clothes to a girl in Kentucky, who in return sent them all some holly. To end the year properly, the 8th grade, with their sponsor, Mrs. Rena Roberts, held a class picnic. The class gave several parties and were active participants in school activities. They, the seventh grade, solved the mystery of finding their classrooms. There were bewildering looks on their faces the first few days of school, but they soon vanished. Under the leadership of their class officers and their sponsor, Miss Eugenia Tuttle, this class had a successful year. They held several delightful parties for the eighth grade. The class officers were president, Nancy Wehr; vice president, Bonnie Watson; secretary, Dave Ul-fers; treasurer. Bill Van Horn; and student council representative, Dianne Myers.
