G. A. A The Girls' athletic association is an extracurricular organization with a capacity for promoting and sponsoring girls' sports. It is especially beneficial to girls who wish to continue participating in athletics after the.y are no longer required in school. Girls in good health in grades 9-1-2 are eligible to become members of GAA. They choose teams and compete among themselves in such sports as volley ball, basketball, soft ball, and soccer. For several years, representatives from the Estes Park GAA have annually attended a play day, sponsored by one of the state colleges. This even enables girls from all over the state to meet each other and to participate in sports together. Cathy Priegnitz, Loretta Droeser, Mildred Gorman, Robruta Bro-die, and Ann Thompson are president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and point recorder respectively, of the Estes Park Girls' athletic association.
