The Akion eleven squeezed by the Bobcats on their own muddy field by a score of 12 to 0. Wearing their new uniforms for the first time, the Estes gridmen defeated a lighter Yuma eleven and during the following week tromped the La Porte Pirates. The Louisville Pirates held the Bobcats to a 6 to 6 tie at the half of a game played there, but the Estes team rallied in the second half and won 26 to 6. At Timnath the Estes squad was not so fortunate and the thrilling game ended n a scoreless tie. The fast-charging Loveland Indians scalped the Bobcats, giving them their worst defeat of the season. The Bobcats met the Lafayette team at home in their most important league game.
