The rrips were a lor of fun because rhere were so many more people rhis year, sold Elena Birch Wirh the help of club advisors, Carol Nohra, Mike Fisher and presi denr Elena Birch, ski club designed and sold T-shirrs and candy ro help ger special deols on greor rrips. With rhe increase in people and inreresr, ski dub hod many new op- porruniries for fun, ond look forward ro when rhey con rendez-vous or rhe rop of a mountain, and be powder bound once ogoin. Pep dub was the first step to becoming a cheer- leader Monica Coballero said, I ' ve been in pep club for two years. It ' s o lot of fun. Girls joined rhe dub to show their spirit while they earned the points they needed to be able to try out for the cheerleading squad. Poinrs were awarded for poinring signs, go- ing to a lot of the sporting events, and showing their Eagles ' pride oround campus. At meetings, mem- bers talked obout upcoming gomes, fund raising, and of course, points! After earning enough points, and going to a majority of the meetings, the pep club members were ready to try out for the cheerleading squad and show their Eagles ' pride. 84 Clubs

The members, along with president Morty Dahl, decided to get in- volved with community work for o change. They participated in rhe Morch for Hunger and sent money to rhe Sponish Orphanage.
