New Classes At EHS Are Red Hot! To our high school ir ' s been o good year bur ro rhe Esroncio Dond classes ir ' s been exrro special. This year rhree new dosses were srorred: Precision Donee and Silks ream, Srring Ensemble, ond rhe Rockin ' and Rollin ' sounds of Pvock Ensemble, Precision Donee ond Silks wos new ro our Marching Bond. They performed in parades wirh rhe bond, along wirh pri- vate comperirions. Also new was rhe requirement rhor starring in 1987 you must hove or least one yeor o f Preci- sion Dance to become a cheerleoder One of the Silks team captains, Chris De Sondre, said, People are doing things together, there ' s more unity, One of the Dance captains, Louro Robbins, said, It ' s a chonce to do more with our obiliries, we ore oble ro ger up and perform and do whar we like to do in front of people! String Ensemble which consisted of four string instrumenrs ond one doriner, was olso new class. Wi-Chou Kyoo believed Ir ' s challenging, ir gives you more rolenr, kind of like o hobby. But it ' s olso grear rhot Mr. Wolf, the teocher of the new class, hos pa- tience with us, said Elvio ArelloriQ If we moke a mistake he ' s very un- dersronding, he helps us out! But the newest and most unusual doss was Rock Ensemble. It ' s o bond to ploy in OS Mr. Wolf described ir. Ir allows them to leorn a different style of music, ond they get credir for it. Or as Chris Blokely put it, It ' s sometning different in school to do ond it ' s the only doss I wouldn ' t skip! . Some of the students in the class ore also in bonds outside school such os Justic Moiz ond Eric Kistler ' s bond Bottery , And rhey all seemed ro rhink We be Jo- min ' An accomplished musician.
