From Baby Drama To Production In The Spotlight Doby or beginning drama is one of rhe first sreps ro production dranna at Estoncio. Many drama students had fond memories of baby drama Jenni- fer Stark said, My freshman year, I took baby drama, and I really en- joyed it. For SomonthQ Fuerbringer, boby drama wasn ' t the first step of her interest in drama: I sow Annie ' when I was little, ond from then on I wanted to act and become an oc- tress like her. Quite a few drama students be- gan with classes in elementary school, Julie Burden didn ' t start out with acting, though. I ' ve olwoys been interested in the behind the scenes stuff like lights and directing. It wos only in ninth grade in baby dra- ma that I started to enjoy the acting port. Lisa Freeman summed it all up when she sold, It ' s just the greatest feeling. As Amy Young described it: Mrs. Cassody asks you to moke, for instonce, o dining room, and then you get to decide how the room should look. It ' s very creative,- that ' s what i like about stagecraft; creativity. Joson Goddord enjoyed sroge- crofr because you get to build things and point them. Other students enjoyed stagecraft for simpler reasons. All my friends ore in it, ' sold Henry Vondoorn with o shrug. One great thing about stage- craft is rhor you get to leave the dossroom whenever you wont, said Lee Queener wirh a grin. Drome
