Powder Pud Revival The girls showed the boys how it was mothers. done at the Powder Puff game Cheers were led by the lovely male November 9, 1978. cheerleaders wearing sequins and shorts. Carol Morrell revived the Powder Puff tradition, and Mr. Ball and Mr. Fachner volunteered to coach. Mr. Ball coached the Senior-Sophomore SS Ponytails ' while Mr. Fachner coached the Junior- Freshman JF Express. Led by quarterback Laureen Rocha, the JF Express dusted the SS Ponytails, led by quarterback Debbie Pearce, by a score of 20-6. Halftime activities included the crowning of the Powder Puff King, Steve Toy. The King's court included Mark Franceschetti, Neil Hodgson, Lawrence Mendoza, and Brian Greer. Homecoming Takes it to the Limits During the halftime of an exciting game, against the Hughson Huskies, Janesse Sadler was crowned 1978 Homecoming Queen. Other queen candidates were Moya Amerine, Tamie Keyser, Diana Martin, and Debbie Olson. The game, played on October 13, ended in a 33-33 tie for the Varsity, while the Frosh-Soph tied at 14-14. The Homecoming dance held after the game was sponsored by the Junior class. 1 Mr. Bill Amerine and Moya Amerine. 2. Mr. Joe Keyser and Tamie Keyser. 3. Mr. Harvey Sadler and Janesse Sadler, 1978 Homecoming Queen 4 Mr Frank Martin and Diana Martin. 5. Mr. Paul Olson and Debbie Olson. 6. 1977 Queen Cindy Bartolomei hands over her crown to the now reigning Queen, Janesse Sadler. 7.
