Seniors Enthusiastic For College Day Twenty-one Alabama colleges sent representatives to the annual College Day. Senior attendance was excellent and contributed to a very successful day. Guidance office assistants acted as teacher and student hosts. This experience helped many students to make their final choice of a college. As a show of appreciation to Seniors for their outstanding participation during College Day, Mr. Hughes gave them the rest of the day off.  t Intrasquad Game The team was divided by the coaches for Erwin's first intrasquad game. Coaches Wood and Blair were pitted against Coaches leffrey and Combs. Coach Wood's Red Eagles defeated the White Eagles 24-14. Quarterback, Rod McSweeny, was voted outstanding offensive player by the team. Senior, Lynn Hayes, was voted outstanding defensive player for three interceptions and one fumble returned for a touchdown. This game ended the 1973 spring training and kicked off the 1973 football season. Student Lite 17
