To read any issue of The Erasmian, a biannual publication of the English Department, was to gain insight into the thoughts and feeling of our contem- poraries and to know better their aspirations, ideals, and problems. While many Erasmians submitted short stories, essays, poems, and illustrations, only a few of us were able to have the distinction of seeing our work appear in this line publication. The staff of The Erasmian was ably aided and abetted by Mrs. Harriet K. F elder, whose constant travail allowed students to see their names and literary eilorts in print. , Who? What? When? Why? Where? How? If the answer concerned Erasmus Hall we read it in The Dutchman, our school's prize-winning news- paper. Monthly issues furnished us with informa- tion about current activities as well as items of interest concerning the life of our school. The paper's staff was selected from an English class in journalism conducted by Miss Erna R. Fleischer. .13 513-35 . 'Ei 1 - 1: ' - -, I l I .FEE I.-'Qi 4 Efiii E' PTI eg. .-.N-1-5.5, , .
