PL T-TUPPED DESK cession of two hundred dirty gym uniforms tnot washed for four years! executing the intricate steps of a folk dance taught to the boys in third term. Before him looms the bewildered figure of a fellow convict scanning the campus for a familiar person to inquire the location of Room 67. Once again our faithless senior misdirects his own friend. Hah! Foiled again! Here comes Ioe Freshie to the rescue! Bbll Bb!! Halpl Grgl! Grgl! Halp! Our hero dives into the water and is immediately immersed in the rapid current by the drowning manager of the swimming team. He emerges, only to find his slippery victim back in the deepest part of the water. As he jumps in once more, he sees an immense devils eyebrow rise near his classmate. Frightened, he starts to swim back to shore, when he recognizes the voice of the class freak calling to him. Now he is in the chem lab performing an experiment which should turn out to be a rare perfume-the recipe of which is only known to him and one heathen Chinee now residing in India. All goes well until the mixture begins to boil-and then his hand goes impulsively to his nose. The exotic fragrance is none other than hydrogen sulfide. He dashes from the room, up the nearest staircase tto Studio D l, pursued by the forgotten skool. While there, the fire gong rings and he is immediately caught in the rush of panic-stricken janitors, teachers, and other living beings. ln his attempt to get to safety, he is hampered momentarily by the loss of one shoe, two teeth, and a pair of sharpie socks. The senior now commences to snore and as this vocal outburst reaches high HC Csole result of senior singingl, a storm of triangles, Latin verbs, French idioms, The Valiant tof English 5Hl, Miss Batchelor's assigned orig- inal poems, and late slips descends on the restless sleeper's head . . . He awakens, 3 straightens his non-existent tie, smoothes the creaseless trous- ers, swings every bit of his one book over his padded shoulders and 1 walks from the ex- '4.ff. ,. amination room, visas! never giving a jwllfgm second thought to j'e:. the inevitable fail- ure - a senior to ., .. ' . gi -Ill the bitter end!
