WILDCATS DEFEAT CROSS- COUNTY RIVAL ELBA 20-7. The EHS Wildcats over- powered the Elba Tigers in Elba by a score of 2 0-7. Enterprise rushed for 172 yards in the game. The first score came when Philip Presley scored in the first quarter. In'the second quar- ter Johnny Tanner scored the TD. The final EHS touchdown came in the fourth quarter when Philip Presley carried the ball into the end zone. POWERHOUSE ANDY HANDS WILDCATS FIRST DEFEAT. Enterprise would lose their only regular season game to a 3A-Powerhouse. Andalu- sia's Bobby Vinson blocked a Ben McKnight punt that rolled into the end zone for a 2 to 0 lead. Stingy defense by both teams highlighted the game. Enterprise took the lead late in the 4th quarter but could not hold on as Andalusia drove for the win- ning touchdown, with 2:27 left, to ice the victory. Out for the season, Brian Quisenberry wishes that he was on the field adding to victory. Tony Lepore and Michael Chapman move to cut off the outside. 21

WILDCATS DEFEAT LANIER 19-14 IN MONTGOMERY. The Wildcats took on the Lanier Poets in Montgomery at Crampton Bowl. The two teams were tied for the Class 4A Region 3 lead. Each team capitalized on the other's mistakes, but when the dust settled Enterprise came away with a big 19-14 win over the Poets. 23
