EHS WILDCATS DROWN OZARK 63-0. Enterprise handed Ozark an embarassing 63-0 defeat in the Cat's second game. En- terprise used all but the in- jured players in an attempt to hold the score down, the game was marred by several penalties on both sides. The Wildcat back field had an outstanding night with senior halfback Don Haines being the workhorse. Swift movement is shown by quarter- back Phillip Presley. Paul Russell watches the game from the sidelines. Oespite the rain. Tommy Moore push- es on for a first down. 19

EHS WILDCATS OPEN WITH 14-0 WIN OVER SELMA. EHS Wildcats opened their season with a 14-0 win over the Saints of Selma. The Cats first score came when Doug Lee connected with Sherman Wilkerson for a 24 yard touchdown. Senior half- back Don Haines had an out- standing night, rolling up 216 yards. Haines went over from the four to end the scoring. Don Haines turns inside for a big gain. Johnny Tanner braces himself for a tackle. 18

GENEVA GIVES THE WILDCATS A SCARE; THEN FALLS 14-13. The Wildcats squeezed past Geneva to take their 3rd win of the year 14-13. The game opened with excitement as Sherman Wilkerson took the opening kickoff and ran it back 99 yards for the score. The Panthers came back to tie the score at 7 at the half. The Cats scored first in the second half but lost a fumble on their own 13 with 8:11 left in the game. The PAT failed leaving Enter- prise in the lead 14-13 and ending the scoring for the game. The Wildcats wait expectantly for the end of the anthem and the start of the game. Sherman Wilkerson carries the ball for another first down for the Wild- cats. Brian Quisinberry drops an opposing player for a loss.
