ENNIS, TEXASForeword
We, the 1961 CICERONE staff, have tried to represent in the following pages, a year in your life- - a year of work, a year of study, and a year of fun. As you glance through the pages of this book, we hope you will recall happy memories of your year at Ennis High School, as you portrayed history in the making.
We hope the 1961 CICERONE will serve as a symbol of loyalty to the school and its entire school program. It suggests that on our E.H.S. campus, scholarship, citizenship, and character intermingle in the mind and heart of each student, with the result that he is enriched and the community is benefited.
This volume is a record of events in a school year at Ennis High. We have tried to show how you, the students and faculty, have helped to make another year, that is now history. We hope you like it.
