RETIREMENTS ixuoiT i . i r.AZi i: “Doc, as Mr. Erazicr is aHcctionately known, has taught at the English High School since 1922, and has been Head of the Science Department since 1948. “Doc” dedicated the past thirt -nine years of his life to English High School. He was Head of the Science Department hut he always went above and be ond the call of duty. Twenty-five years of service to the senior class has endeared him to the hearts of thousands of graduates. With the retirement of “Doc” Frazier the English High School has c.xperienced a great loss. JOHN BOWLFR Mr. John Bowler has been teaching at the English High School for the past thirt ears, and for the last four as Acting Head of the Commercial Department. After the summer, Mr. Bowler plans to retire to Hawaii for a vacation and just take life eas .’’ His advice to the Senior Class consisted of Set our mind on a goal and work for it.” Mr. Bowler enjovs reading and is quite active in the Knights of Columbus. This, together with traxel, should give him many pleasant ears of retirement. W ' e all wish him the best of luck for the future. JOHN CI IFIOP.D HONAN Upon Jiis retirement from Boston English, Mr. Ronan plans to reside at his Newbur port home. After traveling cross countr), he plans to settle down and pursue his interests in art, cabinet-making, and gardening. His ad ice to the Senior Class was that you should not waste your time but know what you want and work at it. While Mr. Ronan was coaching our track teams the won twenty State Championships, four New England Championships, one American Championship (2 mile relay), and twenty-seven Reggie Championships. The entire student body is deeply indebted to Mr. Ronan for his contributions to the school, both in sports and art.
