Berning LCPO CD division is responsible for maintaining the computer equip- ment utilized for implementing tactical information and weapon response in combatant task forces. CD division consists of technicians of the data systems rating. The equipment they maintain include high speed digital computers, digital date communication capabilities, digital-analog and analog-to-digital converters which comprise the naval tactical data systems (NTDS).
