I I I I OE DI I IO OE DIVISION is the home of the versatile Electronic Technicians. The Division Officer is the Electronic Material Officer CEMOJ. OE01 is the radar workcenter and includes naviagationfair search radars, Tacan CTactical Air Navigationl and IFF fldentification Friend or Foel. OEO2 is the communication workcenter and includes low, high, very high and ultra high frequency comm gear. They are also responsible for Omega and Loran Navigation Aides. OEIO3 is the Test EquipmentfCalibration workcenter and is responsible for calibration, repair, inventory and custody of all test equipment used onboard. Radioman CRMJ - A ., OC DIVISIO OC DIVISION is actually two mini divisions encompassing both Radiomen and Signalmen. Their two diverse rates are both involved in virtually all the ship's communication with outside sources. RM's work in Radio Central is to ensure that CIC's radio circuits are 'Kup at all times as well as receiving and distributing all the ship's message traffic. They are the first to know . Signalmen use various forms of communication such as signal flags, semaphore and flashing light to talk to other ships in company. This is important during periods of radio silence.
