Germain Considering the condition that our world is in today, it is difficult to believe that a group of over 200 people could become as close as we have. The world we live in today is in turmoil. Wars are being fought across the globe, some costing nations an entire generation of youth. People are starving in third world nations while many of their leaders sit idly by. To many people the idea of family is in most cases non-existent. In the last year, we’ve seen corruption in the highest branch of government and in the campaigns of candidates who wished to lead our nation. Many people believe that we are on the verge of a nuclear holocaust. Yet, the Class of ' 88 has gone against the grain of today’s society to become the close-knit community we are. Pulling together and accepting one another are what this class is all about, and what it’s been all about for four great years. This past year especially has brought us closer together and has given us memories to last a lifetime. We would like to wish you the best of luck in fulfilling all of your goals and aspirations. Using the tools we’ve learned from one another, we can change the world. — Peter Dubois and Don Peterson Senior Class Co-Presidents 17! We put aside all of our differences and work together as a team to create a class project. We not only work long and hard on our float, but also on building new friendships and strengthening old ones. As our high school years have passed and we are now seniors, those bonds that were formed at float meetings grow stronger and stronger. Those special moments turn into memories for us to recall throughout the school year, at Class Night, in college, and even to tell our own kids. For those two months each school year will not be forgotten by any of us.
