Enrollment was 'eThe New Monopoly Game for the 7,062 students who re- turned to the Teachers College campus to begin another year. After passing 'QGo,,' getting those precious class cards, every- one settled down to relaxing and having fun before the onset of classes. UAC fed hungry students at an All School Picnic, and celebrated the end of the first week of classes with a mixer after the victorious football game on September 14. Blue Key presented their Freshman Talent Show on September 13. Craig Parker took first place for a vocal per- formance of Man of La Mancha. TC sororities boasted 113 pledges, nearly half of the applicants, as the frats began Open Rush. The year began with a vigorous and tense air that promised an unusual year. Frustration is waiting in it lO mill- line just to find out thc class you want is closed. Students inobbed the Union Square for at dance after the first football game. fb-
