l l President Vice-president Sam Hayes Paul McNab TUDENT GOVERNMENT The desire of K.S.T.C. students to be heard is carried out through the Student Council. Elected by the student body, these fourteen council mem- bers work in coordination with the administration and the student body. Sam Hayes served as presi- dent this year. Assisting him were Paul McNab as vice-presidentg Bonnie Jones as secretary, and Dale Greiner as treasurer. In September, the Student Council members returned to campus a week early to assist with Freshman Orientation Week. They sponsored such activities as a talent show, square dance, pep rally, watermelon feed, all-school dance, and tours of the campus for the new students. In November, the Student Council sponsored the annual Home- coming Dance held at the Civic Auditorium. Dur- ing the winter months they sponsored varsity dances after home basketball games.
