Lobora tory School If-lE pulchritucle of the Laboratory School makes it a pleasant memory for all who see it. Rising from a grassy terrace, it stands silhouetted against the eastern hori- zon, casting elongated shadows across the campus with the dawn. The echoing happiness of hundreds of little children enrich the beauty of the surrounding playgrounds. The building overlooks the east side of the campus, which is dotted with trees and foliage. Every kind of tree that grows in Kansas can be found on the Teachers College camp- us, and when the autumnal colors enfold them, the color and artistry of fall transforms the campus into a scene indescribable. justly, the Em- poria State Teachers College has been accredited the honor of having the most beautiful campus in Kansas.
