YWXI 'IL eecfao ie X The unior Class JUNIOR II 1 am the Junior II class Some class although my fellow sister the Senior I class thinks that she is ihe one and only one But who would uant to be a Senior I when they must be in my class Some students like me so well that they stay with me for sometimes, two years They, Like th poor we have always with us ' This year I am made up of twenty seven members Fourteen boys and thirteen girls Poor unlucky girls' Always worrying who must be courteous to the extra boy. I have never attempted any gieat works of distinction yet I have had some brom- inence in a number of directions Silvia Neill mv dramatic star IS one of the most popular members of the class Frank Adams with his cornet and Blenda Stubbs with her remarkable voice have done much to cheer up E H S So iallv I have been a bit bashful but I can point with assurance to my cake eaters and Flappermos ' examples are Lawrence Harlan, Claude Wagoner John Maddern, Ray Overfield, Loren Barnett, Theodore Juenglmg, Lorena McCaw, Vernie Fisher and Ada Smith In athletics too, I have won distinction, for what I have lacked in numbers ' Lefty Marmont and Slim Campbell have supplied in quallty Warren Jones has done his bit as a substitute, and Oliver Roberts as cheer leader has lead the school in pep. As a class I cannot be called a book worm but nevertheless my intellectual at- tamments have been secure in the hands of Joyce Stubbs, Isa Huntsinger Olive Jen- nings Alice Fairchild, Lloyd Desklnes, William Loveless, Robert Sutton and George Newcomber While Holly Mcllvam and Frances McNoWn, with their Titian hair, have done their part to brighten my class Alme Martin my graceful toe-dancer has taken part in two plays, IS a member of the Shakespeare club and secretary and treasurer of my class, and can think when she sets her head to it She has aspirations for Vas- sar Now do you blame me if every day in every way I feel prouder and prouder h t I am the Junior II class? JUNIOR I 'Twas 1n Nlneteen Nineteen September, Ah' well do we remember When first we gathered in E H S Somewhat chagrlned, we will confess But soon our fears were overcome And there was always heard a hum Of merry voices in class rooms all, And quite as often m the hall.
