ln these days of Publish or Per- ish, - advanced centers for learn- ing, and continuous drives for endowment, too often the true purpose of a University is swept aside: the student merely falls by the wayside. But often there comes a man whose philosophy of administra- tion not only concerns the student, but centers upon him. He sees his job not as administering or disci- pliningg rather, he believes in guiding and encouraging. Such a man is Dean David W. Robinson. In his brief tenure, he has helped the life of the Emory student in more ways than can be counted. He has shown the ropes and directed the energies: moreover, he was a friend and a person to talk to. Because of his many indelible but invisible contributions to Emory, we choose to proffer one small visible testament to his works.
