They took pictures, arranged photographic appointments, wrote and edited captions, distributed the book in Iune. Linda Muller and Spartan photog- rapher Don Wesley. The Broadcasting Club provides entertainment for students over the public address system during lunch breaks and before the start of classes in the morning., The members perform as announcers, secretaries, record man and dedication man. They also provide training for students interested in this activity. This year they have taken field trips to several radio stations. Albert Glenn. ill Student Curriculum and Behavior Committee The Student Curriculum and Behavior Committee is a student organized and student controlled committee, formed for and by the students with representa- tives from every grade. Working along with the student council it has provided assurance for the students as tar as their participation in establishing rules con- cerning curriculum and behavior is concerned. Interact Club Interact is one of Emery's busiest service groups. The club provides support for an adopted orphan in India, and donates two S50 scholarships each year to Emery seniors. Paper drives and car washes support these activities. ln addi- tion, the Club decorated the Children's Hospital Christmas tree this year, as well as the gym for the Homecoming Dance, and participated in the March of Dimes and the Leukemia Fund drives. An affiliate of Rotary International, the Club is in touch' with other Interact groups in the East Bay and as far afield as Iapan, Uruguay, Finland, and Denmark.
