SENIOR CLASS HISTORY
On September 4 1901 twenty two freshmen entered EmerK
Hlgh School An 1n1t1at1on party was held on September 19 glven
by the senlors All of the freshmen came to school 1n costumes
After three weeks Herman Krumm started school Thls brought
the freshmen number up to twentv three
Class offlcers were elected as follows Myron Weber president
Don Wlblemo vlce presldent Jlm Johnson secretarv and Donna
lxayser student counc1l representatlve
Don Wlblemo Gordon Osterloo and Herman Krumm made
the flrst ten 1n basketball Four from the class played 1n the band
and four took part 1n Declam All the glrls took part 1n the Glrls
Glee Club and M1XEd Chorus A freshman octet was also organlzed
Donna Kayser Mona Krler and L1la Hlllard were chosen as cheer
leaders Vera Helman and Herman Krumm dropped out of school
later 1n the year
