The 1987-88 student council had a great year. Members are. front row. left to right. Lorie Matson, vice president; Mike Oliver, president; Quinton Powell, social committee chairman, Traci Jeffs, social committee member. Steven Law. reporter, and Neal Peacock, advisor. Next are Joel Wilson. 2nd vice president; Scott Stilson, social committee member. Top are Kim Behling. historian, and KaeLynn Jensen, secretary. If, during the course of the school year, you participated in the many activities such as Battle of the Classes, The Dating Game, home- coming, the dead bunny pep rally and others, then you took advan- tage of a student-council spon- sored event. Being a member of the student council means hard work. It involves a lot of planning and dedi- cation. This year's council members learned to work together, and they did it well. They tried to make activi- ties interesting and fun for every- one. Although most of the weekly meetings were less than serious, the council managed to put together a great year. The responsibilities of being student body president can make you grow old fast, as Mike Oliver found out early in the school year. mom council
