A ASSEMBLIES Our assemblies have ranged from fun to edu- cational, yet, they always seemed to be interest- ing. The assemblies this year have been different from those we have had in the past. For example, the Brunsen Burners were some exceptional trum- pet players. There were, also, the B.Y.U. Jazz en- semble, and the frisbee experts, and several oth- ers. These weren't our only good assemblies. The assemblies put on by our own student body showed great effort and tremendous potential for the students participating in them. A great amount of work went into our assemblies. Tre- mendous effort, practice, talent, and involve- ment was shown. Each assembly, somehow, has helped us to grow and develop. Assemblies

The Odd Couple The contrast between Oscar and Felix in the play, The Odd Couple , sent the audience into fits of laughter several times. The cast portrayed their characters very well. The play, itself, was a real-life situation, so the characters could relate to the incidents. The Drama Department performed the play three nights for the public, and then went on to present it before the student body. It was a great success. This is the club's first year of working with Mrs. Terrie Shoemaker. Some of the members were asked what they thought of her. They stated that she was extremely talented, and knew how to get the job done. We are proud of the efforts that were shown by the cast, and all who worked on the play. They should all be commended for their efforts and the time spent. CAST OF CHARACTERS Louis Johnson David Owens John Jorgensen Kenny Snowball David Hilliard ..
