Jamie Cox, Studentbody President: True success can only come from within. What you get out of your high school years depends on you. Cherish this time. Get involved; participate in all the school activities. I have really enjoyed being studentbody president this past year because of the fine students and faculty we have in our high school. Thanks for giving me this opportunity to serve you. 26 Mr. Johansen, Student Council Advisor

LEFT TO RIGHT: Frank Hall, Elemen- tary Supervisor; A.G. Kinder, Super- intendent; Randy Jensen, Clerk; Rue Ware, Vocational and New Building Supervisor; Tom Raush, Pupil Per- sonnel Director (not pictured). District Administration Supt. A. G. Kinder Being employed as an educator in Emery County School District for the past 30 years has made Superintendent Kinder a strong advocate for education in our county. His educational career has placed him in a variety of educational positions. Mr. Kinder began as a teacher at Emery and Huntington Elementaries and at North Emery High. Later he became principal of Huntington Elementary, North Emery High and Emery County High School. In recent years Mr. Kinder has been a supervisor and superintendent of Emery County Schools. Being born, raised and educated in Emery County has made Superintendent Kinder a conscientious and effective administrator; one who is both sensitive and responsive to the many recent changes that have effected education in our county. We as students of Emery County High School feel it a privilege to have a superintendent of the caliber of Mr. Kinder. 25
