last summer, four students from elston participated in boys' and girls' state. where they learned state governmental processes, and made many new friends. rusty meska and dave ayars attended boys' state at indiana state university, while pam glenn and laura martin took part in girls' state at indiana university. on campus they were joined by hundred of students from throughout indiana, with whom they studied state government and all forms of local governmem the students held meetings where candidates were elected to offices, and mock governmental meetings were held to make and pass laws by our present governmental system 1. dave ayars, Iaura martin, rusty moska. and pam glenn meet With their sponsor, mr. harbart. 2. dave ayars works as clerk of the circuit court at boys' state. students governed cities 1

seniors awaited Hg day the senior class of 1974 consisted of a large group of outstanding individuals. ' these students were individualistic in their ideas. attitudes, mannerisms, and even in their attire. yet. regardless of their growing independence, the seniors managed to join together and form a class full of leadership. enthusiasm, and spirit. at pep sessions and other school assemblies, their quality was displayed at all times. thus the members of the class of '74 brought their high school years to an end. as they completed another chapter in their books of life. - REPRT Han! .
