Students find culture can be fun if!! qw in Always busy, interesting, and fun, describes effectively the language and art courses at M. C. First year Latin students master the fundamentals of grammar and vocabulary while second year Romans fight Caesar's campaigns in Gaul. Teens enrolled in the newly re-introduced German course work hard on exercises and present conversations. Spanish linguists memorize verbs and cute phrases to baffle their friends. New recording booths and tape recorders, letters to pen pals, and Spanish mag- azines painlessly improve vocabularies and accents. Learning to create absorbs art, craft, interior dec- oration, and fashion art classes. Aspiring artists have fun getting dirty while working with oils and sketching with charcoal. Homes of craft students never lack ashtrays since working with clay is a popular activity. Interior decoration and fashion art classes enjoy choosing furniture and designing clothes. The annual art exhibit in May displays the best work of these classes. GETTING IDEAS for their Latin projects, Estelle Paw- loski and LaVonne Blank look over items from previous years.
