SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Row 1: Mrs. Kelly and Mrs, Morgan. Row 2: Mr. Miller, Mr. Sparks, Mr. Kuszmaul, Mr. Sellers. Some of us rushed, some of us crept, some of us were happy, and some of us were fearful. We were now in senior high. The clamor resounded from wall to wall as We entered the study hall to elect our sponsors. Out of the melee emerged the defenders of the Sophomore Class, Mrs. Morgan and Mr. Miller. After this furor had subsided, we noisily chose the leaders of our class: Blake Waterhouse, president, Nancy Booth, vice-presidentg and Terry Edwards, secretary-treasurer. On one occasion in our sopho- more year, however, we were relatively quiet, that was the night we held our Kiddy Prom, the Sophomore Party. The theme of the party was GAITE PARISIENNE. Coca Cola, pop corn, ice cream bars, potato chips! These were the passwords of our junior year. After a year of sound and fury, We were rudely awakened by the hard yet enjoyable work in connection with the financing of our future activities. Not all of our frivolousness had escaped us, because we used some of it in making our Junior Play, GREEN VALLEY, a bang-up success. Hearing about all our foolishness in pre- vious times, you might think that our prom would be a minor chaosg however, things were just the opposite on the night of,May 29. Beauty and thoughtfulness prevailed the entire evening as we enjoyed the ELSTONIA SHOWBOAT. The leaders for this year of hard work and pleasure were Blake Waterhouse, Paul Pittsford, and Bill Wright. Again we chose Mrs. Morgan and Mr. Miller as our sponsors. 22
