1951 SCHOOL SEPTEMBER 3 School starts with a bangl 7 Troy played baseball at Elsberry. 11 National School.Assembly. Warrenton met Elsberry. lk Elsberry returned the visit. 18 We went to Bowling Green for Baseball. 20 Lung X-ray--Free pictures I 21 Vandalia met us in baseball at EHS. 2lp FHA girls attend Cooking School. OCTOBER 1$ Assembly--State Patrol. This was a week for class parties, hay rides, and weiner roasts. 23 National Assembly. Marimba Players. 26 PTA Festival. Carnival, food, and queens I NOVEMBER . . 2 First basketball game at Warrenton. (Lost) 5 National School Assembly. Ventriloquist. 8-9 Teachers went to St. Louis for meeting and left the EHS students with no school for two days; (snowy days, by the way.) 1 EHS Invitational Tournament. We won thirdl 20 Troy ventured to EHS for basketball and returned with a loss. 23 Thanksgiving vacation. 27 Study Club Play used some of our talent. 30 Hermann at Elsberry. Another win for the Indians. DECEMBER 7 Elsberry at Montgomery City. Second conference loss for Indians. ... 11 Senior Play The Eves of Tlaloc' . We nked it I 1!.. Louisiana suffered'a scalping at EHS by the Indians. 21 Senior Tomal Christmas Homocoming Dance» A swell party with lots of decorations, including mistletoe. 2l+ Christmas vacation began.
