He's an honor roll student. Editor of the War Whoop, played important part in both the Junior and Senior plays, is an out- standing athlete, and was selected to go to Boy's State. Norma Jo Gibson is also very popular. She's president of the Junior Class, secretary of the Pep Club, plays in the band, sings in the glee club, and plays piano very well. Norma's an honor roll student, was chosen neat- est girl in school, and is constant companion of Wilbur Miller. Peefry Dixon was chosen most talented girl in school. gBy she has a beautiful soprano voice, plays — the piano, is president of the Pep Club, plays the snare drum, and is an im- portant part of the glee club. Peg . can be seen at the Princess quite often with Melvin Schuster. f- ersona titles Beverly Trescott is the airl most likely to succeed . You can see why. She's an honor roll student, assistant editor of the yearbook and War Whoop, Yell Leader for three year, president of Pep Club in Junior Year, was in both Junior and Senior plays, and went to Girl's State. However, she's proudest of that first place at the State Piano Contest. Mary Velma Mills is one of the Senior's whose charm and ready smile have won her a place in the hearts of all E. H. S. students. She was many times voted the prettiest girl in school, and wa3 Junior candidate for Christmas Queen. She was also voted most popular, is a pep club member, has sung in glee club, and is active in sports. But above all, she is the Yearbook Editor and a swell one. ie PEGGY DIXON JEAN DONELSON PRETTIEST SMILE PRETTIEST EYES MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED PHYLLIS MARY MILLS BEVERLY TRESCOTT M0ST TALENTED CHAMBERLAIN BEST-LOOKING PRETTIEST HAIR MOST POPULAR GEORGIA HOLLEY WITTIEST NORMA JO GIBSON NEATEST c BLANCHE KOPITKE BEST FIGURE BEST ALL AROUND BONNIE HAMMER MOST ATHLETIC CHARLES COLBERT PRETTIEST EYES BEST-LOOKING RAY EDWARDS, JR. Outstanding in their performances were Pearl Holcomb and Mary Mills as two naughty little girls who be- haved not so good and liked to torment Nellie Reed and Beverly Trescott as well as their older brother Wilbur Miller. The play was especially good because of the perfect casting and good Jobs done by all the seventeen students. The Glee Club sang between acts and wore their colorful formals. The director, Mrs. Rosemary Brown was presented a corsage. 24 Pep Leaders: Vallie Watson, Freshman, Betty Riffle, Sophomore, Ardene McKenzie, Junior, (moved.
