Queen Buth Mary and prexy Howard led the qrand march. leepers! Was the prom scene ever pretty! The staqe represented the porch of a southern plantation home. Under the balcony was an old-fashioned garden. The side walls were covered with painted panels and drapery. Above was a starry blue ceilina. Qh, boy! Refreshments! Qh, sure, they had somethinq sweet and coolina at intermission. The refreshment committee decided that ice cream, cookies and punch would really hit the spot. Gee! What a school year-history games, shortage of paper for prom decorations, Bed Cross drives, maqazine sellinq and no spring vacation! Well, anyway, the prom was something to remember us by.
