Robinson, I.. Gilpin, Marjorie Cox, Miss Auman. The sophomore class, sponsored by Miss Auman, held their first meeting in October and elected otlicers for this year. They chose John Baker to preside at their meetings and Don Hower as his assistant. The keeper of the minutes was Frieda Schoeneman, and Robert Coleman took charge of whatever monev they had. Following the usual custom, they chose a skating party at Bell's Rink for their iirst semester activity. It was held on December 2, and after all the thrills and spills, it was discovered that financially they had come out on top. Tom Foltz and Lois Schneider had charge of all the ticket sales. Fourteen students, Ruth Felmlee, Tom Foltz, Ireta Grush, Donnabel Loveless, Betty Mason, Paul Oyer, Eugene Pontius, Lois Schneider, Frieda Schoeneman, Phyllis M. Scott, Betty Slater, Margaret Tenhaeff, Anna Wfise. and Melvin Zelt earned a place on the lirst semester honor roll. Of the ninety-six members in the class, forty were athletes. joe Rowan and Gilbert Millhouse received their letter sweaters. Don Hower, Gilbert Millhouse, Bob Coleman, Paul Oyer, joe Rowan, and Raymond Beebe played on the softball squad. These six besides Bob Parkison, john Baker, and Rolland Leatherman played on the second team. Sixteen members of the class were on intramural basketball teams. The mem- bers of the G. A. A. were Pat McCoy. Connie Kum- fer, Miriam Pond, Barbara Miller, Frieda Schoenman, Margaret Christie, Betty Mutton, Bette Kahlenbeck. Lois Schneider, Phyllis M. Scott, Balbe Robinson, Aloana Kahlenbeck, Betty Mason, Lou Ann Hardisty, and Marjorie Cox. For two years C. Kumfer and B. Miller have been majorettes in the band. Page flffflfj'-Of!!

They chose Lynn Henry aw presidcntg Hope Miller, vice-president: and Lavonne Anson, as Qecretary-treasurer to guide them and keep them on the right track. Mr. XVisner be- came their sponsor. They were to have a Skating Party at Bell's Skating Rink, but on weather froze them out, and it was postponed until April 13. A Pure luwnly In if claw party was held in the school gym lfebruary 17. Games were played and refreshments served. lfleven freshmen were on the first semester Honor Roll. They included: Paul Bailey, Marian Draggo. Donna Foltz, Juanita Foltz, Margaret Lunz, Donald Schmidt, James Sarasien, jean W'eist, and the otlicers. I.ynn Henry. Hope Miller, and Lavonne Anson.
