Rulka, Miss Adamson Since my nose was beginning to twitch for more news, I called on the Junior Class and their sponsor, Miss Jean Adamson. There was a class meeting in session: so I listened to the class ollicers: Fred Link, president: Jack Wilkie, vice-president: Dorothy Jane Lehman, treasurer: and Betty Fair, secretary, in .1 private discussion of their favorite sundae. I intro- duced myself to the group and asked for the news of the class. XVithout further ado. they told me .ill about the class activities for the year. They started the year off right by giving a Hard Times Party. The good news spread that the Juniors led the semester honor roll with fifteen members: Barbara Alden, Catherine Beerman, David Coil, Lorene Dam- meyer. Roger Ellison, Mary Jenkins. Dorothy Leh- man, Harold Mason, Joyce Monce, Veronica Rulka, Dorothy Schweppe. Phyllis J. Scott, Joyce Sonner, Jeanne Summers. and Norma Sutorius. Room 6, the home of the Juniors, also won the Magazine Campaign honors. Maurice Stoller was high salesman with 22 sales: Room 6 sold 170 sub- scriptions. There was a total of twenty-one E's among the Juniors. The G. A. A. letter girls were: Ruth Luna, Dorothy Lehman, Ruth Stolte. Ruth Ann Emerick, Maxyne Cvrepke. Phyllis Scott, Barbara Alden. A. and Dorothy Lehman, Joyce Monce. Roger Ellison. and Harold Mason were elected to the N. H. S. Breathless. they paused, but not for long: then came the big news. the Junior Prom. Adine Gebhart was elected Prom Queen and her attendants were Maxyne Grepke, Betty Fair, Jeanne Summers, Ruth Lunz, Ruth Ann Emerick, and Joyce Monce. Little American was the decorative theme which was car- ried out with icebergs, penguins, and murals de- picting the beauties of the South Pole. The chairmen of the various committees were: decoration, J.1ck XVilkie: orchestra. Dale Rogers: in- vitations, Jeanne Summers: programs, Ruth Lunzg and refreshments, Maxyne Cvrepke.
