If you have wondered at Ervin McNamara's sudden inte1'est in boxing, it's because his girl friend expressed her desire for big strong men, and Ervie is trying to develop his biceps. . A sad case is that of Chas. McCormick. His one and only has a passion for mustaches and so far the hair tonic he daubs on his face every night has produced only a fine, fuzzy growth. T hen Lou Auman's picture, which disappeared some time ago, was seen during the Hskilleteers' class adorning Hans Seibers table. He always keeps it there to console him when his cooking turns out a flop. Snitz requests the announcement that no ferns should take his word seriously, as he's only practicing to be a politician anyway. Jim: 'kNoW the meetin' will be turned over to proposals for reforms so that our dear bl'OtllCl'S and sisters will not have to suffer the things we have suffered. Are there any motions? Fred: Mix President. Jim: 'LF1'ed. Fred: I move that geometry teachers cease making the students try to find the locus Qtj, and give up the ghostg my sis said they were looking for it when she went to school here. Audrey: 'LI second the motion. Jim: It has been moved and seconded that geometry teachers etc. Is there any discussion! Tate: 6'VVell, I have something to say about that, too. At the beginning of this last semeste1', Mr. Jeifrey's class decided it couldn't possibly be in Room 7. so what did they do but move down to Room 15, and we had to listen to them try to locate it while we were study- ing. It's an outrage and should be stoppedlw Jin1: All in favor of the motion say aye . All: 'KAye. Jim: 6'Contrary . Jim: lNIotion carried. Oletha: President Jim. Jim: g'Miss Olethaf' Oletha: I move that when band or orchestra are practicing. that all involved be required to play the same tune. Ardis: Second the motion. Jim: Any discussion! Jane: I agree! VVhen you try to listen, you can't follow all of themg then, again you canlt follow any of them, yet you can't stop listeningg itls awful! Martha: Can someone suggest something they might all playf' Jeanette: uThe Star Spangled Banner! 77
