Denv r Wo-od senior r'ght end, was one ol the hardest tighters on the team. He started almost every game and played both ottensively and detensively. Denver received honorable mention lor All State teams. Honored on the Sectional Tournament team were Captain Arden Swiger, Dorsey Sherman, and Kenneth Taylor. Our next goal was to deteat Weston at the regional tournament on March 9. After a close and highly contested ball game, the Tigers were nosed out by Weston in the last minute with a score ot 57 to 56.
