 Student Council 16 First row: Mrs. Carole Brown, Sponsor; Frantz Battenfield, Vice President; Martha Cooper, President; Allen Burgess, Treasurer; Debra Holley, Secretary; Cynthia Thomas, Reporter. Second row: James Smith, The '66-'67 Student Council was very active. Among their accomplishments were the purchases of the large school sign and the curtains for the stage. They Melvin Pollock, Betty Perry, Linda Smith, Kurt Doege, Bruce Battenfield, Ricky Eaton. Third row: Patsy Paschal, Charlotte Clark, Marvin Gobel, Mike Bell, Dempsey Lewis, and Joyce Turner. also sponsored the candy machine in the gymnasium. This venture was not a financial success, however, it was very popular with the student body.
