The Beta Club was installed for the first time this year at Elkins. A student must have a MBM average in order to be eligible to join. The Beta Club has spon- sored the clothing drive for Applachia. Individual members tutored the slow elementary pupils in math, and we are proud of their marked improvement. The Club also sponsored a Teacher Appre- ciation Day in which Beta members relieved the teachers of their duties for 4 periods. Second row: James Smith, The '66-'67 Student Council was very active. Among their accomplishments were the purchases of the large school sign and the curtains for the stage. This venture was not a financial success, however, it was very popular with the student body.
