Paul Hoggatt, Vice President; Carl Parsley, President; Alton Higgs, Reporter; Betty Jones, Secretary- Treasurer. Juniors On September 4, 1961, fourteen Juniors enrolled in Elking High, the smallest class of all, and the smallest for many years. Our size has not hindered our pep nor our school loyalty. We have participated ener- getically in school activities. At Christmas we became the envy of the whole school as we waved our brilliant new class rings under the noses of the underclassmen. Our well chosen leaders were Carl Parsley, President, Paul Hoggatt, Vice-President, Betty Jones, Secretary-Treasurer and Alton Higgs, Reporter. Our Sponsor was Mr. Hogan. Our Student Council representatives were Janice Taylor, Shirley Kirksey, Paul Hoggatt, and Ray Fallen. We are looking forward to taking our places as seniors next year. 22
