The Boys' League had a very successful 1954 55 school term under the uid- - Q ance and leadership of President Alfred Onodera and Advisor Mr. Campbell. The league sponsored the All-School Party, Carnival, Welfare Fund and started an annual Talent Show. A trip to the University of California, Benefit Day, and patrolling the halls and games have kept us busy all year. GIRLS' LEAGUE COUNCIL MRS. SHENK Advisor First row: J. Baroni, T. Nakatsuka, L. Fassler, M. Tsukamoto, M. Zenker. Second row: C. Timmons, W. Bass, N. Starkey, J. Fizer, D. Wolff. Third row: Mrs. Shenk, C. Sanders, N. Bartholomew, M. Castello, W. Presley. With the help of a sincere and willing council, Girls' League has truly been able to uphold the dignity of their motto: Friendship, Loy- alty, and Service. The busy year was begun with the Big and Little Sister Luncheon followed by the annual Booster Tag Sale in which the girls once again won an overpowering victory over the boys. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the title of the Girls' League Council float for Benefit Day, won first prize in the parade. Contributions of cookies were taken to veteran hospitals and the Christmas programs followed the traditions. The All-School Carnival iointly sponsored by the Girls' League and the Boys' League Council, the Richardsons Springs Conference and the annual climax to a perfect year, The Mothers' Tea.
