As this school year draws to a close. we look back on a year filled with interesting and worthwhile activities in which we of the Student Council feel we have been privileged to participate. The Council 3 sponsored activities to develop a more splendid show of sportsmanship. school spirit and interest. We sponsored five auditorium programs, includ- ing one by the blind. The Council attended confer- ences at Tahoe-Truckee and Woodland which taught us more about other schools and their activities. We sponsored Benefit Day and for the first time, six senior girls were chosen to run for Benefit Day Queen. We also feel proud of the fact that the financing of the scoreboard for the football field was started by this Council. Along with our new advisor. Mr. Theiler. we are Ml-:L V005 sure that we have done our best to create the spirit President of sportsmanship and loyalty among the students of Elk Grove. STUDENT COUNCIL Sealed, left to right: E.
