'51 TRACK Last year the Elks' A and B relay teams went to the Corning Relays. Ebth teams qualified for the finals but did not place there. From there they went to the league meet at Biggs. The following boys placed there: Bill White, first in the lO0 and 220 yard dashes, Ray Bedford, fourth in the uh0 yard run and the B 220 low hurdles. The B relay team, with Cushman, Lafferty, Bedford, and Whitney, placed fourth as did the A relay team with Gillaspy, Hovland, Whitney and White. They then traveled to Princeton for a meet with them. The Elks did very well and won by a score of 35-19. Bill White went to Oroville for the N.S.C.l.F. semi- finals. He took third in the 100 and 220 yard dashes. He also went to Davis for the California Field Day and entered in the 220 and took fourth, which is very good for someone from such a small school. ---Leon Whitney
