Latin is very helpful in understanding our own English language. German students find that there is a close association of the language with our own local language heri- tage. French, the diplomatic tongue, enables us to communicate with many of the world's people. Teaching the fundamentals of bookkeeping and business math, and the basics of shorthand and typingg the business teachers continually stress the need for and the importance of, atop-notch secretary or business executive, in this modern world of today.
