V JOHN HALL . . President JEANNE PRITCHARD . . Secretary REDXVLLL Fomsrs . . Vice-President WALLACE BRUMSEY . . Treasurer Isn't it hard to believe that our first year in E.C.H.S. is almost over? Is it possible that it was only nine months ago we entered dear old E.C.H.S? Do you remember that first day when the sophomores greeted us with lots of gaudy lipstick and cheap per- fume? It. didn't take them long to have it plastered all over us. For the first few days we were a little uneasy about our courses and classrooms. Our subjects were all so new and different-Latin, science, home economics, algebra. The Student Council gave a big dance in our honor on our first Friday night at E.C.H.S. The gym was beautifully decorated and it helped us feel we were really a part of high school. In the tuberculosis essay contest we walked away with top honors, iour class members winning first and second prizes. We soon belonged to the clubs and took part in the extra-curricular activities. As we look back on freshman days in the years to come the memories of each little incident will flood over us and welll remember the good times and hard times of fresh- man days. 12
