The sound of remodeling made the learning process difficult, but at the end of school we were presented with a new school. With classes cut short and tem- pers even shorter, teachers and students melted under the 1980 Texas heatwave. g .V n g X ' t , . " -V ' . 122 J I fI,f 2: : 1' l11 1:i2,22',L? The rest of the week was filled with other dress-up days like, Tacky Day, Red and White Day, 50's Day, and Tiger Day. The climax came on Friday when the whole school marched downtown to participate in the Homecoming Parade. A new theme was tried this year by decorating cars instead of floats. The Seniors won with their colorful and creative "Mogul-eat- ing" Tiger. Kim Thompson was crowned Homecoming Queen 1980- 81. The Tiger band awaits their command to march. 14 Carrie and her dad await the decision The Tigers add their pep to the rally. The cheerleaders ended the parade downtown. Kim Thompson, the 1980-81 Homecoming Queen. Swgqk ai. The winning car. The F.H.A. girls do the "'DalIas Freeze". The band's newest twirler, Jared Chance Oggie Carter and Brad Urban lead the football boys in a cheer. 16 gl 'x Hanging out the "VICTORY" wash Who is this? Short people?
